5 Things God Does Not Know!
If there were a way to know for sure that when you die, you would go to heaven, wouldn't you want to know?
Well, there is. I know what the title of this brochure says, I also know what the Bible says in 1 John Chapter 3: Verse 20. "for if your heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts, and KNOWS ALL THINGS."
So please bear with me as I tell you these… "5 things God does not know!"
1. God does not know a sin He does not hate.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
"Be sure your sin will find you out." Numbers 32:23b
"These six things the Lord hates, Yes seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, false witness who speak lies, and one who sow discord among brethren." Proverbs 6:16-19
"If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
1 John 1:10
2. God does not know a sinner He does not love.
"For God so loved (the greatest love) the world that He gave His only begotten Son (the greatest gift), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (You!) Romans 5:8
3. God does not know a worse place than Hell.
"Then he (a rich man) cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus (a homeless man who believed in Jesus) that he may dip his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." Luke 16:24
"Anyone not found in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15
4. God does not know a better place than Heaven.
"Now I saw a new earth, for the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Then He who sat on the throne said, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." Revelation 21:1-5
5. God does not know a better Savior than Jesus!
"God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
"Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
That's right in God's eyes, you can be perfect. Perfect because Jesus paid the penalty for your sins with his perfect, sinless, precious blood!! Nothing else, no one else can save you (or me!).
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
Death as noted here does not simply mean your heart stops and you are dead. It means, total separation from God and anything that is good!
Jesus said, "I am the way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
THE BOTTOM LINE: You (me too!) have sinned against a perfect God.
"... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God." Romans 3:10-11
Don't count on your good works, because we can never be good enough. Don't count on your parents belief, your church membership, your status, or anything else. because we can never be good enough.
As the Bible says: "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-10, & 13
So it is written, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Acts 16:31
Allow me to add one more thing that God does not know.. God does not know a better time than now to believe and trust Jesus.
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2
We are all his creation, but we are not all God's children. "But as many received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe on His name." John 1:12
